My name is Kristmar. I’m an independent art director / senior designer and the founder of Studio Portico. I specialize in creating meaningful, type-driven brand identities rooted in tactile, physical experiences and I enjoy working closely with people who care deeply about what they do.

Over the past decade, I’ve drawn a lot of letters. I’ve also designed websites, packaging, stationery, signage, candles, tote bags, bandanas, playing cards, half-inch stickers, 20-foot-murals and a whole bunch of other things too.
